Misson Overview
- Joint mission of technology demonstration & science observation
- Engineering mission led by JAXA and science mission led by ChibaTech
- International collaboration between JAXA and DLR
- Selected in 2017 as a mission for JAXA/ISAS’s small-class program
- Planned launch in 2028 by a H3-equivalent rocket and flyby Phaethon in 2030
